Chen Sheng, Co-President
Chen is originally from Reisterstown, Maryland. She graduated from Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service as an International Economics major with an Asian Studies concentration. Prior to law school, Chen worked in a law firm's attorney recruiting department. She loved her experience so much that she decided to pursue a J.D. In her spare time at Duke, Chen loves to explore new areas and try new restaurants.

David Kuwabara, Co-President
David is from San Marino, California, a suburb of Los Angeles. David majored in Managerial Economics and minored in Political Science at the University of California, Davis. David has developed a wealth of interests in the law due to his great experiences in class and while working. David loves basketball, music, dancing, and FOOD.

Tianzi Wu, Director of Communications (Social Media Chair)
Tianzi is originally from Shanghai, China. She graduated from Franklin and Marshall College as a Government and Economics joint major. At Duke, Tianzi is pursuing a joint degree of JD/LLM in International and Comparative Law. In her free time, Tianzi loves dancing and traveling.

Alex Kim, Vice President of Finance
Alex grew up in beautiful Santa Barbara, California, and studied finance at the University of Notre Dame. Prior to Duke Law, Alex worked as a consultant with Ernst & Young's financial services group in New York City. Alex is primarily interested in corporate law, with a particular emphasis on public companies and emerging companies/venture capital. In his free time, Alex enjoys golfing, snowboarding, and obsessing over fantasy football. Alex is fluent in Korean.

Jamie Shinn, Director of Diversity and Community Outreach
Born and raised in Southern California, Jamie is now at Duke learning what "snow" and "rain" are. She is Korean-American and studied Political Science at UCLA. Jamie is interested in incorporating pro bono work into her legal career and actively participates in programs run by the Office of Public Interest & Pro Bono. Her interests include trying new restaurants and exploring cities.

Darwin Ng, Vice President of Internal Relations
Born in San Francisco, Darwin spent much of his early childhood in Shanghai before finally returning to the Bay Area for good at the age of 5. He attended the University of California, San Diego, where he majored in Political Science & American Government. Having grown up around the Bay Area’s tech boom, Darwin is interested in the constantly evolving legal intersection between Finance and Technology. He loves his Giants, Warriors, and 49ers (as tough as that is these days), and uses Yelp and Twitter way more than he is willing to admit.

Stephany Yang, Vice President of Professional Development
Stephany is from Glen Allen, Virginia, a Richmond suburb. She attended Mount Holyoke College where she double-majored in economics and politics. She is interested in corporate law, in particular M&A and banking law. When she was younger, she was a competitive piano player, but she quit in order to focus on volleyball. In her spare time, she likes to read urban fantasy books and watch superhero and crime TV shows.
